This policy explains how personal data is handled by Instruct IQ Ltd, trading as JRH Driving School, for people who get in touch through this website.

How enquiries actually work

This website doesn't have contact forms and doesn't collect or store any personal data itself. When you enquire, you're using your own phone or email app to call, text, or email us directly, the same as if you'd found our number anywhere else.

What personal data is shared, and why

Once you're in contact with an instructor to arrange lessons or training, you may share:

• Your name, email address and phone number, so we can communicate with you and arrange lessons
• Your address, where lessons include collection, so your instructor knows where to pick you up
• The last 8 digits of your driving licence number, used to run a DVSA licence check, confirming you're legally entitled to drive, before lessons begin

This information is shared directly with, and held by, the individual instructor you're working with. It isn't collected centrally through the website or funnelled into a shared database.

How long it's kept

Only for as long as it's genuinely needed, for the duration of your lessons or training, and for any legal or record-keeping requirement that applies afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask to see what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To do this, contact the instructor you've been working with directly, or email Joshua.holleran@gmail.com and we'll help.

Cookies and analytics

If this site uses analytics tools to understand visitor numbers, you'll be asked for consent first via a cookie banner, and given an equally easy way to decline. No non-essential tracking runs before you've made that choice.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can raise it with us directly, or contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
